Mohammed Misbah Uddin

Mr. Mohammed Misbah Uddin is a strategic development professional, senior research expert, and PhD Fellow with over two decades of robust experience directing multi-sectoral public health, governance, and socio-economic resilience initiatives across Bangladesh. Grounded in advanced statistical sciences and development management, his career has been defined by a commitment to transforming complex field evidence into high-impact, scalable NGO programs.

Throughout his professional journey, comprehensive program cycles and Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) systems have been successfully steered by Mr. Misbah for leading international consortiums and organizations, including CARE Bangladesh, United Purpose, IGTC at the John Hopkins University, and NORC at the University of Chicago. Adaptive, mixed-method frameworks have been routinely designed by him to align grass-roots community needs with stringent international donor requirements, such as those of FCDO, ECHO, UNICEF, USAID and UKAID. His executive footprint includes the national management of forced labor research networks, the evaluation of climate-resilient water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) systems, and the design of targeted interventions for maternal-neonatal health (MNH) and social protection tracking.

Beyond operational execution, the gap between academic rigor and field implementation has been actively bridged by Mr. Misbah. A distinguished portfolio of peer-reviewed publications and international conference contributions has been built by him, underscoring a proven capability to advocate for evidence-based policy reforms in governance, public health, and environmental epidemiology. As a Project Director, this unique blend of empirical leadership, multi-stakeholder coordination, and financial/technical compliance is leveraged by Mr. Misbah to foster institutional learning, mentor high-performing teams, and drive sustainable, inclusive development outcomes.
